Sheryl Connelly, Futurist, Ford Motor Company  

As Ford’s global trends and futuring expert, Sheryl Connelly immerses herself in ever-evolving social, cultural, environmental, technological and economic conversations to imagine what consumers might want 20 years into the future. Connelly collaborates with various business groups at Ford, using consumer trends research to help craft viable business solutions for changing customer needs. She provides a “functionally agnostic” view of the world, while offering a different lens through which to envision future shifts in the marketplace. Connelly created the company’s first consumer trend report in 2013, and just recently launched the third edition of “Looking Further with Ford.”

Ann Marie Sastry, CEO and Co-Founder, Sakti3

Ann Marie Sastry is Co-Founder and CEO of Sakti3, an advanced battery company. Sakti3 has been recognized for its innovations with several technical and business aw  ards, including recognition as an IHS CERAweek Energy Innovation Pioneer (2014), MIT's Technology Review as one of the World's 50 Most Innovative Companies (2  012) and the winner of the Wolrd's Top Ten in the Energy Category (2011).

Valerie Ferret, Director, Public Affairs and Corporate Responsibility, Dassault Systemes

Valerie Ferret is Public Affairs and Sustainability Director at Dassault Systèmes, the 3DEXPERIENCE Company, world leader in 3D design software, 3D Digital Mock Up and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions. She is responsible for developing the influencer network to promote Dassault Systèmes' vision of providing businesses and people with virtual universes to imagine sustainable innovations. In 2012, she launched the company's sustainable innovation lab to develop partnerships with customers and industry groups to share ideas and best practices on science, technology and business models for sustainability.

Margo T Oge, Author, Driving the Future: Combating Climate Change with Cleaner, Smarter Cars

Ms. Oge served the US Environmental Protection Agency for more than 30 years from 1980 to September 2012. She is widely recognized as having been a key architect of the Agency's efforts to reduce air pollution and greenhouse gas emissions. During her recent 18-year tenure as Director of the Office of Transportation and Air Quality, Ms. Oge was the chief architect of the most important achievements in the history of air pollution control in the U.S. transportation sector. These included programs that reduced emissions from automobiles, trucks, buses, offroad vehicles including locomotives marine vessels and gasoline and diesel fuel up to 99 percent. Combined, the programs are estimated to prevent over 40,000 premature deaths and hundreds of thousands of respiratory illnesses each year.

Jean Redfield, President & CEO, Next Energy

Jean Redfield is President & CEO at NextEnergy, a Detroit non-profit organization founded in 2002 whose mission is to accelerate advanced energy technologies, businesses, and industries. Redfield previously served as the company's Vice President, Public Policy Programs, leading public-sector initiatives. Her experience includes multiple leadership roles at DTE Energy as well as consulting roles at McKinsey and Company. Her work has primarily involved strategy development, leading major change initiatives and supporting companies as they transform through major dislocations in their respective industries.
