Powertrain Design Benchmarking
Ricardo's extensive programme of powertrain design benchmarking forms a major added-value function where a wide variety of state-of-the-art engines and transmissions are stripped down, inspected and measured noting novel design features or materials.
The engine or transmission is extensively photographed and a comprehensive report is produced. Ricardo is also able to perform a design benchmark on specific engines or transmissions on request.
In addition to the reports, it is also possible to visit a Ricardo site and inspect a previously benchmarked engine or transmission with support from a Ricardo engineer if required.
