| As a system designer for intake and exhaust systems, the Product & Service Group Prototechnik produces and validates customized solutions, from the initial concept through analysis, design and sound quality engineering to prototype and small series manufacture. The extended product portfolio also includes cooling water and oil lines, fuel and air lines as well as EGR cooler systems. Our series production experience reflects know-how tested with success on the race track. |

From the Le Mans 24 hour race through the FIA European Truck Racing Championships, the DTM and WTCC to the Formula series, international teams place their confidence in the innovative solutions from Schwäbisch Gmünd. In the production of small series, apart from the highly dynamic area of motorsport, Prototechnik focuses on niche products, profiting from the flexibility of its own prototype and series manufacturing facility. |
A specially-equipped production cell for commercial vehicles and other HDD exhaust systems offers a high quality assembly of prototypes up to small series production. Special lift, turn and tilting rigs enable the “easy” handling of heavy components in the production.
In close cooperation with the Service - & Product Groups, Prototechnik develops, manufactures and tests entire system solutions for the optimum exhaust gas aftertreatment according to your requirements.
