The Role

Based at Ricardo Prague’s Technical Centre, you will be responsible for accuracy and integrity of the financial ledgers, preparing and analysing financial reports. 

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the integrity of the financial ledgers and understand fully all accounts and inputs
• Maintain accruals and prepayments
• Prepare balance sheet accounts reconciliation and other analysis to ensure accurate and timely financial closing each month
• Prepare and report accurate half year and full year statutory account packs and analysis on a timely basis
• Work with cost centre managers and assist them with cost management, providing analysis and explanations of budget
• Actively identify and implement improvements to the financial processes
• Support all internal and external audit
• Provide ad hoc reports and financial analysis as required
• Provide holiday cover for other members of the Reporting and GL Accountant team

Key Competencies and Experience

• fluent in written and spoken English, Italian is advantage
• SAP work experience
• advanced Excel skills
• strong knowledge of General Accounting
• demonstrable work experience as General Accountant
• independent and self-driven
