Parts Kitting and Spares for Aftermarket
Ricardo provides parts kitting and spares provision services with ready-to-fit components and sub-assemblies for a range of applications. From inventory management solutions to support our clients' aftermarket supply chains, to upgrade kits to for the maintenance of in service vehicle fleets.
Post Design Services (PDS)
Ricardo’s Post Design Services activities help to extend the operational life of mission critical legacy vehicle platforms, ensuring our clients’ vehicle fleets remain in service for longer, even after original parts and tooling are no longer available, through proactive management of supersessions and obsolescence.
These services include configuration and obsolescence management, reporting, engineering surveys, modifications, testing, documentation, and training. We also deliver low-volume manufacture of legacy components, re-engineering, retrofitting, and updating tooling to reactivate supply chains with reliable access to high-quality parts whilst addressing issues such as non-conforming products and counterfeit materials.

Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO)
Ricardo specialises in the repair and overhaul of powertrain and driveline components for land-based vehicles with complex technical requirements to maximise equipment uptime and performance, reduce breakdowns, and extend service life of in-service fleets.
We leverage our capability in engineering, manufacture and supply chain management to deploy integrated MRO solutions which deliver high quality replacement components and sub-assemblies to maintain and restore vehicles to operational service.
