19 Feb 2021
In the Financial Times’s fourth annual rating of the UK’s leading management consultants, published on 19 February 2021, Ricardo has received double recognition winning a silver and bronze medal.
For the fourth year in a row, the Ricardo Energy & Environment team’s expertise in the sustainability sector has been recognised, but this year has been awarded a silver medal after three previous bronze medals.
The Ricardo Strategic Consulting team, which is part of Ricardo Automotive and Industrial EMEA, has been recognised for the first time, winning bronze medal for its expertise in the automotive sector.
Tim Curtis, Managing Director of Ricardo Energy & Environment said: “To be recognised as a leading management consultancy by the Financial Times for the fourth year in succession is a brilliant achievement. We are delighted to have won a silver medal this year, which is a testament to the quality of the work that we have undertaken on high profile, nationally important net zero and decarbonisation projects. I am extremely proud of my team.”
Alastair Parke, Director of Strategy & Development and Global head of Strategic Consulting for Ricardo Automotive & Industrial EMEA said: “I am extremely proud of the team for gaining a bronze medal and a first listing in this prestigious rating. It is an outstanding achievement and a great recognition of the team’s world-renowned trusted engineering consultancy for the automotive sector.”
The Financial Times’s rating of the UK’s leading management consultants is based on recommendations by their clients and peers. Compiled with Statista, a data company, it assesses consultants’ work in 29 categories.
The results are based on two Statista surveys – one giving feedback from clients and the other of consultants evaluating their peers. Consultancies are then awarded gold, silver and bronze ratings according to how often they are recommended. Just over 200 consultancies have been recognised this year.
