Andrea Illes

Andrea Illes has been leading Ricardo’s work on EU climate adaptation policy since 2017. Amongst others she contributed to the evaluation of the EU’s first Adaptation Strategy, assessed EU Member States’ progress by developing an adaptation preparedness scoreboard, contributed to the preparation of the second EU Adaptation Strategy, oversaw the development and later the assessment of adaptation reporting under the Energy Union Governance Regulation and the monitoring activities of the Mission Implementation Platform MIP4Adapt.

Andrea is an experienced policy evaluation expert who has worked on a wide range of EU policy research projects focusing on climate mainstreaming and tracking within the EU budget and climate adaptation policy.
