Vicky is a Principal Consultant, qualified chemist, and certified Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor with over 9 years of experience in technical roles within the waste management sector. She provides consultancy services to diverse industries, delivering innovative and compliant solutions. Her expertise encompasses waste exports and imports, waste classification and characterisation, technical standards and market assessment, including comprehensive knowledge of regulatory frameworks and international waste management. Vicky's background includes working as a site chemist and in various waste technical roles across the UK and Europe. In a previous position as head of Technical and Compliance for a waste company, she ensured regulatory and technical compliance in waste management activities. Victoria has successfully delivered projects in response to industry and regulatory changes by leveraging her expertise in research and engaging with clients and key industry stakeholders. Her extensive experience and specialised knowledge in waste management equips her to adapt to evolving industry needs and provide effective, safety-conscious solutions for clients.

Greg Logelain is an experienced environmental consultant and chartered waste manager with over a decade of expertise in waste strategy, resource management, and commercial due diligence. His work spans national and international projects, with a strong focus on waste market assessments, feedstock analysis, and energy-from-waste (EfW) infrastructure development.

Greg has developed a particular expertise in 'Waste-to-X' solutions, exploring innovative pathways for waste valorisation, including chemical recycling, alternative fuels, and circular economy applications. His background includes significant contributions at the Chartered Institution of Wastes Management (CIWM), where he supported key legislative changes and published industry guidance.

His project portfolio includes large-scale waste strategy development for national infrastructure, pioneering data-driven models to optimize supply and demand dynamics. He has also led a global EfW infrastructure assessment, providing critical insights into waste-to-energy trends. Currently, Greg manages commercial due diligence and market research projects, such as the independent review of Biffa’s acquisition, demonstrating his expertise in evaluating complex waste and resource industry investments.

Greg holds an MSc in Pollution and Monitoring from Brunel University and a BSc in Physical Geography from Royal Holloway, University of London. His diverse experience across AFRY, Atkins, Wood PLC, and CIWM highlights his deep understanding of waste regulations, circular economy principles, and sustainable resource management.

Nikunj Panchal is Ricardo’s Global Vice President of Energy, Infrastructure Transition. He has over 25 years’ experience optimising business and delivering projects across the entire global energy value chain, working internationally in the UK, Norway, Azerbaijan, India and Australia.

Akin Adamson is the Middle East Director for Ricardo, with his responsibility including the UAE and KSA. Ricardo advises public and private sector organisations on air quality, renewable energy, energy decarbonisation, alternative fuels, water, waste, transport and climate change strategies, technologies and operations.

Previously, he was the UK's Transport Research Laboratory’s Regional Director for the Middle East, and before that, he held senior consulting and Director level roles at Nokia Siemens Networks, Telstra and A.T. Kearney in the UK and Australia, with a focus on the Telecommunications, Transportation and Automotive sectors.

He combines his experience in the telco, transport and environmental industries to advise a wide range of clients on smart and sustainable cities and infrastructure.

Having begun his research career at London Business School in the energy sector, Akin has lectured at both London Business School and the London School of Economics. He holds both UK and Australian citizenship and travels extensively throughout the Middle East region. He was educated at the London School of Economics, London Business School and the University of Michigan, USA.
