Annabel Bradbury
Biography
Dr Annabel Bradbury leads on the international development growth strategy, focusing on Ricardo’s consulting services for international finance institutions and philanthropic funders across the environmental value chain, comprising transport, air quality, climate, energy and environment sectors. She has over twenty-five years’ experience leading multi-disciplinary teams to deliver large value, high impact programmes in the transport, infrastructure and international development sectors.
Story
Annabel has worked in access and mobility for the whole of her career and has a unique background in transport and infrastructure, spanning domestic and international markets. She is a subject matter expert in transport planning and development, with a PhD on the contribution of Sustainable Livelihood Approaches to the effectiveness of transport planning in developing countries, and is a widely published and cited expert.
She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation (CIHT); as well as being a PRINCE2 Practitioner. She was awarded the World Road Association UK prize for Sustainable Development in 2019 for a paper written on the Sustainable Development Goals, and is included in the 3rd edition of ‘Remarkable Women in Transport’ published on International Women’s Day (8th March 2021).
