Harsh Pershad

Harsh is a seasoned expert in decarbonisation, with over 20 years of experience spanning policy, technology, innovation, infrastructure, start-ups, consultancy, and the leadership of complex, multi-disciplinary programmes. As Technical Director at Ricardo, Harsh leads the Industrial Decarbonisation and Carbon Capture, Utilisation and Storage (CCUS) team, where he works closely with global clients to navigate the transition to low-carbon solutions.

Harsh works collaboratively with clients providing strategic insight, helping to unlock opportunities in carbon capture, hydrogen, energy systems, and the decarbonisation of heat, transport, and industrial emissions. His guidance has supported billions of dollars in investment decisions, enabling organisations to move from ambition to action with confidence.

With a PhD from Oxford University and an MBA from Imperial College London, Harsh combines deep technical expertise with commercial acumen to deliver impactful, client-focused solutions that drive real-world change.
