Justin Story

Justin is a strategic leader that draws on his knowledge of policy, strategy, economics, and finance to guide investment decision-making. Justin offers a unique set of skills and experience that balance commercial acumen, strategic leadership and deep technical expertise with a focus on the natural world.

Justin’s career spans over 15 years working at the intersection of policy, markets and investment nationally and internationally with government, the private sector and not-for-profit organisations. Justin focuses on environmental markets and natural capital and his recent work includes leading the delivery of advice in multiple domains including water, coasts, forestry, biodiversity, agriculture and land management. 

Before joining Ricardo, Justin served as Senior Policy Advisor to the Minister for Water in Western Australia, where he provided strategic policy advice on water and irrigated agricultural development. His qualifications include a degree in Science and Environmental Engineering, where he was awarded the Centre for Groundwater Studies Honours Prize, and a post-graduate qualification in Applied Finance, where he was named National Dux. He is also a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
