Maya Rubin

Maya is a Senior Consultant specialising in international climate change mitigation and governance with a particular focus on UNFCCC processes and requirements including Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) and Long-Term Low Emissions Development Strategies (LT-LEDS).

She has supported the development of these national climate plans across a range of geographies, covering technical activities such as GHG inventories and emissions modelling as well as capacity-building, expert advice, and guidance development.

Maya is an international expert in these areas, having been appointed to the UNFCCC Roster of Experts for the United Kingdom in 2023, and previously supporting UK Government in the review and agreement of the IPCC’s Sixth Assessment Report.
