Rachel Mason-Salkeld

Rachel partners with organisations to design whole‑estate decarbonisation routemaps and turn them into delivery plans. A PRINCE2 practitioner and chartered energy manager, she leads interdisciplinary teams across energy efficiency, renewables, heat decarbonisation, transport and offsetting.

Rachel has guided police forces, central government sites and the water sector through net zero planning, and brings extensive experience in energy auditing, renewable feasibility and biomass programmes.

• Project and stakeholder management for complex, multi‑site programmes, from diagnostics to governance and delivery.
• Site energy audits across leisure, local authority, heritage, justice and commercial facilities with quantified savings.
• Renewable and low‑carbon technology feasibility and delivery (PV, wind, biomass), including incentive compliance.
• SBTi expertise, having led Ricardo’s own science‑based target development and submission.
• ESOS reporting including site audits, transport audits and compliance submission for clients with complex set ups including manufacturing, waste disposal and laboratories.
