Biography
Rajiv is a management consultant and former engineer focused on providing clients strategic clarity backed by robust data analysis and financial modelling. He works alongside water market participants, natural resources, and infrastructure clients to identify and develop investments via market research, due diligence, and business cases. Serving as Principal at Ricardo, Rajiv leads and manages our Water Market Trade Database which underpins our water market analysis and insights. Rajiv serves private and public sector clients by delivering high-quality quantitative and qualitative water market analysis that supports commercial, strategic and policy decision-making. Drawing on his mechanical engineering and commerce training, Rajiv brings a sensible and systematic approach to every engagement.
Rajiv strives to work with clients as a single team looking to deliver their strategic goals. Rajiv is currently working with a government water utility in South Australia to review its current portfolio of water access rights and how it can better optimise its ability to meet critical human water needs while delivering financial value to its customers.
Rajiv holds a Master of Professional Engineering (Mechanical) degree from the University of Western Australia. During his studies, he worked for 12 months with a major oil and gas operator to create a performance dashboard and identify data gaps for its Quality team.
