Dangerous Goods 2023

The Dangerous Goods Emergency Action Code List 2023 is now available

06 Feb 2023

The Dangerous Goods Emergency Action Codes List 2023 is now available. The new list has again been produced by Ricardo, in co-operation with the UK Home Office and is published by TSO.

The Emergency Action Codes (EAC) List 2023 is effective immediately in connection with the use of ADR/RID 2023 Edition and is mandatory from 1 July 2023. The Emergency Action Code List 2021 should no longer be used from that date.

Duty holders are required to use the 2023 Emergency Action Codes List for the application of the appropriate EACs under Schedule 1 of the Carriage of Dangerous Goods and Use of Transportable Pressure Equipment Regulations 2009 (CDG 2009) (as amended); and of the Carriage of Dangerous Goods and Use of Transportable Pressure Equipment Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2010 (CDG 2010) (as amended).

To download a digital copy of the action codes list, please complete the form below.

A physical copy of the publication is available to purchase from TSO, here.
