Karlie Travassaros

Karlie is a consultant who is interested in the benefits that effective decision-making can have on natural systems. Karlie has a Bachelor of Commerce, with a major in Economics and Marketing, from The University of Melbourne. Her interest in economic analysis, public policy and climate resilience led her to intern with Ricardo where she was part of a project team researching the challenges involved in undertaking climate change adaptation planning. Ricardo developed their own guidance and high-level framework to help practitioners mitigate common challenges and implement effective adaptation measures. 

Karlie has experience supporting projects in the emergency management and disaster sector where she has demonstrated her ability to navigate challenges and opportunities within complex operating environments. Karlie also has experience in supporting evaluations, including evaluating programs and supporting strategies on the delivery of biodiversity and environmental outcomes and areas for improvement. 

Karlie has a willingness to take on challenges and is driven to make a positive impact and environmental change which inspires her passions. Karlie is committed to supporting the delivery of high-quality outcomes and meeting client needs and strives to contribute to a more sustainable environment and future.
