Kostas Kavvadias

Dr. Kostas Kavvadias is the Market Lead for South East Europe of the "Electricity Market Outlook" at Ricardo plc. He has over 20 years of professional and research experience in the analysis and modelling of energy systems and industrial processes, and in scientific policy support. He has worked for more than 10 years in international organizations such as the JRC of the European Commission and the International Atomic Energy Agency. He has extensive experience and has contributed to the drafting of EU guidelines on energy efficiency, renewable energy sources, and the energy sector integration strategy. He holds a degree and a PhD in Chemical Engineering from National Technical University of Athens, with over 90 published scientific papers, technical reports, and conference presentations.
