Michael Newman

Michael manages Ricardo’s global rail operations. He has lived and worked in Mainland China, Hong Kong, Australia, and London and has extensive experience supporting rail projects throughout the world. These projects include bidding on behalf of major rail consortiums to deliver complete railway lines, but also overseeing the delivery of global rail consultancy and assurance projects. He has experience in light rail, high-speed and conventional lines and works across all railway civil structures, signalling and infrastructure, and vehicles. Michael draws on incisive commercial insight to drive change initiatives and performance.
