Rob Stewart

Rob is an industrial chemist by training and is a specialist in industrial process and abatement technology. He has over two decades of experience in environmental consultancy. Much of this time was dedicated to providing Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control (IPPC) permitting support and guidance to industry and regulators. Rob has significant experience in the characterisation of emissions from industrial processes and has provided consultancy on combustion emissions and emissions measurement to governments, regulators and industry in the UK and internationally.

Rob’s expertise has been critical to the UK National Atmospheric Emissions Inventory where he has developed improved pollutant emission factors for various industrial and other activities, particularly for combustion processes. Rob has revised the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) guidebook on emission inventories and projections.
