Ricardo named innovation business 2019

At the 2019 Adur and Worthing Business awards – the annual event celebrating the achievements of businesses in this region of Sussex – hosted this year at the Pavilion Theatre in Worthing on the evening of Friday 1 November, Ricardo was named as business of the year in the innovation category.

With its headquarters at Shoreham-by-Sea – home to the company since it was founded over 100 years ago – Ricardo is both a global company and a major local business in the Adur and Worthing area of the Sussex coast. Innovation is at the heart of its operations as Ricardo operates at the very leading edge of clean technologies across a range of industries. Originally focused principally on the automotive sector, the company now has divisions that focus on environmental consulting – including water, energy, waste and recycling and other utilities – as well as the international railway industry, and has offices and technical centres around the world.
