Ricardo Rail earns International Safety Award

British Safety Council recognises Ricardo Rail with an International Safety Award and shortlisting for 'Team of the year'.
Ricardo's rail team has won recognition of its commitment to keeping its workers and workplaces healthy and safe during 2021 at the recent International Safety Awards. The team has achieved a 'Merit' grading in the awards at its first time of entering, together with being shortlisted for the ‘Team of the year' award.
Now in their 64th year, the International Safety Awards from the British Safety Council recognise and celebrate organisations from around the world which have demonstrated to the independent judges their commitment to preventing workplace injuries and work-related ill health during the previous year. The awards also acknowledge organisations that have shown commitment to wellbeing and mental health at work.

In 2022, organisations from 39 countries worldwide won an International Safety Award. They span all sectors with significant representation from the construction, manufacturing, oil, gas, mining, power and utility sectors. 135 organisations were awarded a Distinction, 204 organisations were awarded a Merit and 210 organisations achieved a Pass.
