Decarbonising sites with CHP

Natural gas is the most commonly used fuel source in the generation of energy in the UK, with almost three quarters of CHP plants depending on it. As carbon targets advance, and other forms of low carbon generation become available, there is an increasing need for conventional CHP to adapt and evolve to avoid raising carbon emissions and putting at risk the UK’s carbon emission targets.
