Air Quality Toolkit for Development Finance Institutions
Ricardo’s Air Quality Team led the development of a digital Toolkit for development finance institutions, in partnership with Clean Air Asia. The Toolkit was funded by CAF, and aims to support financing organisations, primarily multilateral development banks (MDBs) and bilateral donors (BDs), by providing key information on air pollution and guiding them in how their development projects can lead to air quality improvements, as well as track those improvements over time. The Toolkit was developed through a combination of desk-based research and extensive stakeholder engagement with officers from multiple DFIs, in the form of surveys, interviews, and interactive webinars. Following the official launch of the Toolkit, Ricardo will be supporting CAF in promoting the use of the guidance at a series of international events, and through targeted training for a select group of DFIs.
