Decarbonisation roadmaps webinar

The Industrial Decarbonisation & Energy Efficiency Roadmaps to 2050 were published by the Government in early 2015. Since then, your industry sector associations have been working with Government to define the specific actions, roles and responsibilities to deliver significant decarbonisation in the short, medium and long term. These action plans will be published in early 2017.  

The big question is what this might mean for you, especially as these action plans are likely to strongly influence government policy in the energy intensive sectors for the foreseeable future. One thing that is clear now, is that businesses need to undertake further action to reduce their carbon footprint via the implementation of cross-cutting measures such as the re-use of waste heat, switching to low carbon fuels like biomass and further deployment of Combined Heat and Power.
