Free event: Gain insights, inspiration and valuable advice from women engineers

Ricardo, in association with the Women's Engineering Society (WES), is hosting a free event at its Shoreham Technical Centre. The purpose of the event is to highlight future and nonlinear career pathways to female engineering apprentices.

Why attend?

Imagine a room filled with accomplished women engineers who have paved their way in the industry, breaking barriers and shaping the future of engineering. Now, picture yourself among them, gaining insights, inspiration, and valuable advice that will propel your career forward.

Whether you are just starting your apprenticeship, in the midst of it or looking to transition, this event will give you valuable insights on how to navigate your educational journey and rest of your career within a male dominated industry.

Who should attend?

This event is ideal for any female engineering apprentices who would like to learn from other female engineers who had a similar or nonlinear career path.

What to expect:

  • Keynote speakers: Established female engineers will share their personal journeys, challenges, and triumphs in the engineering field.
  • Panel Discussions: Engage in dynamic discussions with our esteemed panellists, covering a range of topics from career development to overcoming obstacles in a male-dominated industry.
  • Networking Opportunities: Connect with fellow apprentices, established professionals, and our inspiring speakers. Build a support network that will be instrumental in your professional growth.
