All transmissions are designed for, and proven over, the most demanding endurance races in the world. Ricardo transmissions have supported numerous GT3 and GTE wins, including Le Mans, Sebring, Daytona, Silverstone and Nürburgring.

Whether it is an existing transmission or a bespoke solution that is required, Ricardo has long been developing both GT3 and GTE compliant transmissions in both longitudinal and transverse layouts with customisable options to suit specific requirements.

All Ricardo customers are offered through life support with spares provision and rebuild services offered to the OEM’s and direct to end customers.

Each transaxle is the culmination of experience gained in LMP1, LMP2, GT1 and GT3 categories, where numerous race and championship wins have been amassed by our clients.

The ability to supply performance-focussed, compact, lightweight, reliable transaxles that meet the demands of current GT3 racing places us and our clients at the forefront of this category.

Transverse and longitudinal GT transaxles are offered, featuring competition-proven internals housed in a bespoke aluminium or magnesium casing, enabling our clients to utilize an optimized ‘no-compromise’ approach when designing their car layout.

Ricardo’s credibility as a leading supplier of high-performance GT transaxles is reinforced by the fact that it supplies numerous GT3 manufacturers and recently supplied the entire Japanese Super GT grid with transaxles for multiple seasons.
