Ricardo wins Wellbeing category award at the UK Rail Business Awards

We are so proud of our UK Rail team who have been recognised by the rail industry for excellence in staff wellbeing at the Rail Business Awards 2024.

Jake Cartmell and Billy Underwood attended the ceremony in Manchester, UK on the evening of 23 February, to collect the prize for the industry's Wellbeing category.

The award is recognition for the successful implementation of a health and wellbeing strategy over the past six years.

The strategy’s goal is to improve the safety and wellbeing of employees and to prevent work-associated ill-health.

It encompasses the physical, mental, financial and social health aspects of employees and ensures all colleagues can be their true selves at work, with individual values, cultural backgrounds and development needs fully respected.

Michael Newman, Global Operations Director for the rail practice, said: “I’m so delighted with this recognition and I want to convey my thanks to the many colleagues across recruitment, health and safety, project delivery and team management who have contributed to this success.
