Endurance racing solutions that go the extra mile
Ricardo’s attention to detail and proven “built-in” endurance supports the Le Mans Prototype (LMP) OEM’s with build to print components and complete design and supply of transmissions to LMP1 and LMP2 classes.
Ricardo’s rich history at Le Mans came to the spotlight during Audi’s dominance in the early 2000’s with the R8. After the transition to Diesel, Ricardo supported Peugeot with their successful challenge to the Le Mans 24 Hours with the 908 HDi FAP.
Ricardo use cutting edge design ideas, developing these with the client to maximise performance and reliability and use state of the art manufacturing tools and systems to ensure that prototype and race manufacture can reliably hit tight deadlines and testing schedules.
Ricardo engineers can be present at the trackside during testing and development, and during race weekends, to provide 1-to-1 support to the LMP customer base.
